Shortly after we saw a book being banned from the AppStore for Obscene content, Apple has rejected another app ‘iBoob’ on similar grounds.
The iBoobs application is a computer animation of a large pair of breasts in a bikini top. Shaking the iPhone makes them wobble from side to side, or up and down, depending on the movement.
We really believe that this is a good move to keep the Appstore which is loaded with over 10000 apps CLEAN. Apple has had its own share of critisicm for acting late in the past (remember the $999 app?); but now it seems to have the system rightly functioning with ‘Better safe than Sorry’ approach in practice.
